Content Policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy covers everything shared on Slancio — profile and business information, booking and contract details, gallery photos and videos, chat messages, AI chatbot conversations, and client reviews. It supplements Section 4 of our Terms of Service.
What's allowed
- Accurate profile and business information — your real name, studio details, and service area.
- Photos and videos you own or have the rights to share.
- Honest, business-relevant communication with clients and other users through chat.
- Genuine reviews that reflect your own experience.
What's not allowed
You may not upload, send, or share content that:
- Is illegal, or that facilitates illegal activity.
- Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Sexually exploits or endangers a minor in any way — this is never tolerated, and we report it to the relevant authorities where required by law.
- Shares intimate imagery of someone without their consent.
- Is graphically violent, or depicts gore, cruelty, or real-world harm for shock value.
- Is hate speech — content that attacks or demeans someone based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses another photographer or client.
- Impersonates another photographer, business, or person.
- Shares someone else's private information without their consent (doxxing) — including home address, ID numbers, or financial details.
- Is spam, a scam, or unsolicited commercial messaging sent through chat.
- Is a fake, bought, swapped, or otherwise manipulated review.
- Contains malware, or attempts to exploit or abuse the platform.
Chat & the AI assistant
Chat messages — including conversations with the AI chatbot — are capped at 5,000 characters and automatically purged after 7 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. The AI assistant is built to help with booking and business questions; it isn't a substitute for professional legal, financial, or safety advice, and shouldn't be used to try to generate content that would otherwise violate this policy.
Reviews
Reviews must reflect a client's genuine experience with a photographer. We may remove a review, or take action on the account that posted it, if it violates this policy — including reviews that are fake, coerced, or exchanged in return for another review.
You can block or report directly from a chat message, a gallery, or a photographer's profile. Blocking stops new messages from that person without deleting your existing history; reporting sends the content to our team for review. You can also email admin@slancio.site with a link or description of the content.
Enforcement
We aim to review and act on reports of objectionable content — including anything involving a minor, violence, or harassment — within 24 hours. Depending on severity, violating this policy can lead to content removal, a warning on your account, a temporary restriction, or account suspension. As described in our Privacy Policy, warnings and suspension history are kept as part of our moderation process, and a suspended account has a 7-day window to export its data before removal.
Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, email admin@slancio.site and we'll review it.
Copyright & IP complaints
If you believe content on Slancio infringes your copyright or other rights, email admin@slancio.site with a description of the content, where it appears, and your contact information. We'll review the report and may remove or restrict access to the content while we investigate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
